Dick was the first mechanic I ever had when I moved to this area and I never had a reason to change. He was from the old school and could fix things that others couldn't; and he always did it with his dry sense of humor. I remember that he was still pumping gas when I moved to the area - but he seemed to dislike it because it interfered with his mechanical work. Nevertheless, he handled it with humor. He just seemed like one of those guys who would be around forever. We'll miss you, Dick. Keep 'em laughing in heaven.

Gees. Dick was a guy who gave me my first real job. He was so patient with me and I learned so much from him. He had a great sense of humor so much so that sometimes you couldn't tell if he was serious or not. I do remember Rick driving him crazy sometimes . He was just one of those people who I thought would always be here. Heaven will be a crazier and happier place with you up there Dick. My condolences to Betty and all of his family.
