I met Peggy at our Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity house (along with 2 of her friends from Douglass College) where we were both students at Rutgers University - we dated that fall semester. I was shocked and saddened to hear of her young death from cancer. I was not surprised to read " Peggy was an animal lover at heart"-since this was so true when we were dating. I hope she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior - like I did just before I graduated Rutgers. She was such a special and caring human being. I close with a bible verse from Revelation 14:13 (from section VII of Brahms "A German Requiem" ) : "And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."
