We were driving to the city in a big van. I think it was for Ashley's birthday. I told Scott how the streets are a grid. He yelled to the whole van that I was the only one allowed to talk because I knew the streets and how to give him directions.. Love you Thorsens.

This man had a remarkable ability to create a lasting impression on anyone he had contact with. When you were with Scott, time was never passive, but rather an incomparable experience. I will miss every politically incorrect, offensive and outspoken remark, every demand , every chore, his passion and perspective, every joke and banter, the bear hugs in his button up shirts and lastly hearing him say "hey kiddo".
Heartbroken, only mildly describes how we are feeling, since hearing the news of Scott's passing. Tears are rolling, while I'm typing and thinking of his big smile, booming voice, and personality that can fill a room. Such a beautiful soul that I'm honored to have known for 32 years. All the prayers and love to your family, and to everyone you touched. There's a big ole hole in this world today without you. You are so loved and you are missed already.
