Brian Rogers - Husband, father, grandfather, author, song writer. But to me Brian was a "Best Friend". While Brian and I shared the same birthday, we shared so much more. We shared a kinship, our hopes, fears, wishes and some of our most private thoughts. Brian's life was his family. If Brian called you his friend he also called you family. NOTHING was more important to him than his wife, children and grandchildren. We would talk endlessly about each of our kids. Hearing Brian talk about Mike, Maureen, Ryan and Jackie, anyone listening could not help but see the the twinkle and the glow of pride in his eyes as he spoke about each of them. Add to that the endless love Brian held for Diana, all you could see was happiness and fulfillment that was on his face.
Brian was my "Best Friend". To say I loved him LIKE a brother is an understatement. I loved Brian AS a brother. I will miss him everyday until I see him again.
Rest easy my friend, my brother, my Brian.
