It took me a while to write this and I’m still trying to find the words… I will never forget when I first met you at RVMS, and how you were always walking down the hallway with your drawstring backpack and a big smile on your face. And ever since then no matter where you were going you would stop to give me a huge hug. You gave the best hugs. No matter what was going on in my life, they would make the day better. You were also so kind to my brother (who was picked on a lot back then), before you even knew me. He still remembers you to this day and how you were one of the only ones who was nice to him and included him. That says so much about your great character and how you changed peoples lives, even with just the little things. And I was so lucky to have gotten closer to you over the following 19 years. You were so kind and had such an amazing heart. We’ve had many memories in the last two decades and I’ll never forget them. This is so hard to come to terms with, but I’ll always think about you and cherish the time we had, Chris.
