Obituary of Thomas Hodulik
Thomas Hodulik, age 85, of the Pittstown Section of Franklin Twp., NJ died Friday, March 4, 2011 at home. Mr. Hodulik was born August 18, 1925 the son of the late Frank and the late Mary (Dzibela) Hodulik Sr.
He was a fruit farmer and co-owned the Peaceful Valley Orchard in Pittstown, NJ. Thomas also was a mail carrier in Pittstown, NJ for 36 years. He was born, raised and lived his entire life on the family farm in Pittstown, NJ.
Mr. Hodulik was a parishioner of Our Lady of Victories Church in Baptistown, NJ and of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Clinton Twp., NJ. He was an avid hunter and also enjoyed horseback riding & snowmobiling. Thomas was a longtime member of the Quakertown Recreation Club. He was awarded "Patient of the Year" from Kessler Rehabilitation in 1996.
He is survived by his sister: Eleanor Hahola of Pittstown, NJ, many nieces & nephews and great nieces & great nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brothers; Andrew, Theodore, Frank & Robert Hodulik and pre-deceased by his sisters; Pauline Raab, Frances Waliky & Helen Hodulik.
Visiting Hours will be Monday, March 7th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. The Funeral Service with a Catholic Prayer Service will be held at 9:30 am on Tuesday, March 8th also at the Funeral Home. The Interment will be at Old St. Mary's Cemetery on Halstead St. in Clinton, NJ. Memorial donations may be made to the Quakertown Emergency Squad, PO Box 225, 321 Pittstown Road, Pittstown, NJ 08867.
