Obituary of James Patrick Vellanti

James Patrick Vellanti, age 42, of Clinton Township, NJ (Hunterdon County) died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Atlantic City Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, NJ. Mr. Vellanti was born April 22, 1967 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Robert and Maureen (nee McCartney) Vellanti. He was raised in Old Bridge, NJ and resided in Clinton Twp., NJ For the past 5 years and previous to that, he lived in Scotch Plains, NJ. James graduated St. Mary's High School in South Amboy, NJ in 1985 and later graduated West Chester University in 1990 with a degree in Business Administration. James was a Chief Operating Officer for JNF Asset Management LLC. in NYC, NY. He enjoyed golfing, cars and reading. He was an avid New York Yankee fan and a New York Jets fan.He is survived by his beloved Wife of 10 years: Jennifer Vellanti (nee Reid), his cherished Children: James Jr. (7), Matthew (6) and Ava (2), his Sisters: Christine Higgins of Monroe, NJ & Debra Clayton of Freehold, NJ and his Parents: Robert & Maureen Vellanti of Old Bridge, NJ.Visiting Hours will be Wednesday, September 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm & from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 1st at 10:30 am at the Immaculate Conception RC Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ 08801 - (908)-735-7319 or www.icc-clintonnj.org. Family & Friends are invited to meet DIRECTLY at the Church on Thursday morning. The Interment will take place at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery on the Church grounds immediately following the Mass.
