Obituary of Eugene "Gene" A. Olejko

Eugene "Gene" Olejko, age 56 of Lebanon Twp., NJ died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at home.He was born October 15, 1952 in Jersey City, NJ the son of the late Frank and the late Eugenia (nee Minarczuk) Olejko. Mr. Olejko graduated St. Joseph's High School in Metuchen, NJ in 1970 and Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Maryland with a Bachelors of Arts in 1974. He owned & operated Whitehouse Aquatic Center in Whitehouse Station, NJ. Gene resided in Lebanon Twp., NJ for the past 25 years and previous to that, he lived in Edison, NJ. He was an avid Scuba Instructor.He is survived by his Girlfriend, Mary Jane Murphy of Lebanon Twp., NJ, his Sister, Bernadette Olejko-Gadaleta & her Husband, Will Gadaleta of Edison, NJ, his Brother, Mitchell Olejko & his Wife, Jill Wolcott of San Francisco, California, his Niece, Stephanie Gadaleta, his Nephews, William & Stephen Gadaleta and Frank & Michael Olejko, his Sister-In-Law, Charolette Olejko and his Faithful Companion, Cobber. Gene was pre-deceased by his Brother, Frank E. Olejko, Jr.Visiting Hours will be Sunday, February 22nd from 2:00 to 4:00 pm & from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and again on Monday, February 23rd from 2:00 to 4:00 pm & from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ.
