Obituary of Eugene R. Shrum

Eugene R. Shrum, age 65, of the Annandale Section of Clinton Twp., NJ died Monday, July 9, 2007 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. Mr. Shrum was born November 24, 1941 in Roscoe, Pa. the son of the late Eugene and Mildred (nee Zlatovich) Shrum. He served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1965 during peacetime. He was the Director of Maintenance for Amrod Corporation in Port Newark, NJ. Eugene has been living in the Annandale Section of Clinton twp., NJ for the past 24 years. He was previously from Plainfield, NJ He is survived by his beloved Wife of 37 years: Judy (nee Poolet) Shrum, his Son: Scott Eugene Shrum and his Wife: Anita of Anticoh, IL., his cherished Granddaughter, Diana and his Mother, Mildred Shrum of California, Pa. Additional Survivors include; his Sisters: Lois Tice of Somerset, NJ & Joyce Teich of Donora, Pa. and his Brothers: Ronald Shrum of Rahway, NJ, Lloyd Shrum of Warren, OH, Rodney Shrum of Bridgeville, Pa, Nicholas Shrum of Surf City, NC, and James Shrum of California, PA Visiting Hours will be on Thursday, July 12th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm & from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Funeral Home. There will be a Graveside Service on Friday, July 13th at 10:30 am at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, ("NEW" - On the Church Grounds), Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ - #908-735-7319. The Funeral Home will open at 9:00 am on Friday for those who wish join in the funeral procession.
