Obituary of Al Stewart (aka Austin Lee)

AL STEWART (Austin Lee) of Hunterdon County died December 31, 2006 after living a wonderful life. Funeral arrangements are being held by Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. Calling hours for relatives and friends will be 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM on Friday, January 5. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be at St. John Neumann Church, Rt. 513, Califon, NJ. At 11:00 am on Saturday, January 6. Born in Kinston, North Carolina, but raised in Perth Amboy. He was a long time resident of Hunterdon County. While serving his country in Korea he received the Distinguished Service Medal. He was also past commander of the American Legion Post 284, Whitehouse, New Jersey. His career was varied running the gamut from radio D.J>, television, the General Sales Manager of Clinton-Edken Ford, a Ticket Agent for Trans Bridge Bus Line and an Office/Courier for Hunterdon Radiology. He and his wife Pam owned and operated a small hotel. He was a communicant of St. John Neumann Church in Califon and volunteered as a DJ for WDVR radio in Sergeantsville. Al celebrated his life with his wife Pam, his mother Ruth Elizabeth and his dad Stephen. Other members of the family include six children; Stephen of Steelacome, Washington; Marla Garcia of Bremerton, Washington; Michelle Chandegra and husband Paul of San Diego, California; Karen Silbernagel and husband Michael of Eagle Creek, Oregon; Kraig of High Bridge, NJ and Donald of San Diego, California. He also celebrated his life with four grandchildren; Jessica Garcia, Alicia Stewart, Jillian Stewart and Olivia Silbernagel. He also leaves three great grand children; Evalyn Garcia, Soren Hawkins and Nigel Hawkins. His father in law, Frank Ghiselli lives in Chatham, NJ. Als brother in laws and sister- in laws include ; Tony Ghiselli of Bridgewater, Greg and Dana Wilson of Califon, Peggy Ghiselli of Livingston, Julie Redling of Doylestown, Pa.,Joe and Ilona Ghiselli of Alexandria, Va. and Greg Redling of Perkasie, Pa. Al was also the uncle of Jake Wilson, Tim Ghiselli, Adam Redling, Rebecca Redling, Jessica and Jon Donahue, Sarah and Donny Hunt, Dana Ghiselli, Amy and Gary Lombardi, Gracie Donahue, Molly Donahue, Ella Donahue, Cora Hunt, Wyatt Hunt, Alexandria Lombardi, Dominick Lombardi, Gary Lombardi, Ali Redling and Julia Ghiselli.
