Obituary of Richard B Reitz

Richard B Reitz, age 66, of Alexandria Township, NJ died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the Hunterdon Medical Center. Richard was born in Jersey City and was the son of the late Richard H and the late Elizabeth (Rehlinger) Reitz. He retired from Lucent Technology BELL LABS, Berkley Heights, NJ as a(n) Senior Facility Manager in 2001. Richard was a trained silver and metalsmith, loved sailing, fishing and wood carving. He was a ham radio operator and a prolific folk song writer and guitarist. Richard also had a passion for photography. He is survived by his wife: Barbara (Bours) Reitz two sons: Christian and Andrew; Brother of Erika Dunham and Robert Reitz. The Visitation will take place Monday, September 8th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 9 at the Funeral Home. The Interment will follow at Lower Valley Cemetery in Califon, NJ.
