Keith, I am so sorry to have heard of your mother, Jacqueline's passing and that I could not be at her service and tribute.
The wedding of Norman and Jacqueline was the very first I attended at 12 with my family, Eliane, cousin to Jacqueline and Lydie, my father, Reynold (Ray), my brother Dan and sister, Michelle.
Jacqueline's wedding was at the Park Hotel in Plainfield where her father, your grandfather Lucien, was the head chef. It was magical to me.
It is because of your family that we came to New Jersey from Minnesota after my mother came from France to marry my father. My father wanted to make a better way for us not wanting to be a farmer as his parents and grandparents prior. I remember visiting with them, including Aunt Marya and Uncle Ceasar, as a little girl in the historic section of Plainfield, helping "snap" string beans and always thought your mom was the coolest, only being 12 years older than I was (which was 3) when we arrived.
Our deepest condolences to you and your entire family. May she rest in eternal peace and her beautiful memories bring you consolation in time.
Joe, Murielle and family
