Obituary of Elizabeth M Porter

Elizabeth "Betty" Porter, 87, of Pittstown, N.J. passed away at home on August 15, 2017. Born and raised in Stewartsville, she has resided in Pittstown for the past 65 years. Betty is survived by her son, John H. Porter, Jr. and his wife Donna, two grandsons, Dale Parichuk, Jr. and Benjamin Parichuk and her granddaughter Machelle Parichuk and step granddaughter Rebecca McAtee as well as Betty's sister Bertha Cronce. Betty is also survived by her loving seven Great Grandchildren and four step Great Grandchildren. She also leaves her dog and companion Toby. Betty worked as a floor Supervisor at Lipton Tea Company in Flemington for many years before retiring in 1988. She enjoyed her flowers and bird watching. Special thanks to her niece Janice Parichuk and dear friend Patricia Schultz. Betty is predeceased by her husband, John H. Porter, Sr. (1995) and daughter, Linda S. Smith (2-2017), granddaughter Tammy Woolf, sister, Dawn Ellis and brothers Lawrence and John E. Stone. A memorial celebration of Betty's life will be offered at a later date, burial will take place privately.
