Obituary of Isabella MacBride

Isabella MacBride 88, of Bridgton, Maine, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Bridgton Hospital. She was born in East Orange, New Jersey on December 22, 1927 to Joseph and Rose (Taliercio) Carocci. She was a 1946 graduate of East Orange High School. She had a love of singing and would perform in nightclubs and various shows. She worked at the Prudential for many years before marrying the love of her life, Charles MacBride Jr. They moved to Maplewood, New Jersey and finally settled in Clinton. She was employed with the Department of Social Services in Hunterdon County and became a member of the Hunterdon Hills Chapter of Sweet Adelines. Isabella moved to Bridgton Maine in 2002. While in Bridgton, she enjoyed taking watercolor classes, Tai Chi, being a member of The Red Hat Society,taking care of her grandchildren and her dog, Bitsy. She is survived by her daughter, Veronica Kugelman, of Bridgton, and her son Charles MacBride III and his wife Shelly, of Melbourne, FL, also her grandchildren; Katherine, Leanne, and Thomas Kugelman of Bridgton, Ciara and Cameron MacBride of Melbourne. She was predeceased by her husband Charles. A memorial mass will be held on June 3,2017 at St. Catherine of Siena Church 2 White Bridge Road, Pittstown, NJ at 10:00 am. Arrangements are under the care of Martin Funeral Home in Clinton NJ.
