Rest in peace Mr Eakin! I remember him telling us of his adventures of India and the world in the 12th grade English class at Somerset County Vo- Tech. I have never had another English teacher even come close to him in knowledge, and he knew just how to bring out the best in every student!

Dear Eakin Family,
We had the good fortune to meet David a few times when he came to visit Anne in Baltimore. We really enjoyed hearing his stories about his youth in India and benefited from his sage advice about gardening. What a kind man. We see that kindness reflected in Anne.
We send you our condolences.

I decree to the Eakin's family, that the spirit of God sends angels to comfort the family. David is one of the kindest men, I have ever known. His generosity and character spoke loudly, as his voice spoke softly. Dave touched me, as he and Tess were faithful members of the NJ Chimney Sweep Guild. You could always depend on their honesty and faithfulness in their duties. His example of a real man, will live on.

I'm sadden to read about David's passing. I would like to pass my condolences to your family during this difficult time. Please know that God hates death, it is his enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26). He hates it so much that soon he will get rid of it forever and give hope again to all of those who are in the tombs, including David, through a resurrection. Continue being together as a family and supporting one another.

Tess, Anne and Nora - I think of you often, as my little Westie and I walk by your former NP home, and consider myself lucky to have known such a wonderfully kind, creative and intellectual family. May the best and happiest memories of what you shared with David support you all in the future.

Dear Tess, Anne, and Nora:
Sincerest Sympathy on the loss of your beloved husband and father. Dave was such a kind and gentle man. My children were always thrilled and mesmerized when "The Village Sweep" came to our house, bedecked in his full regalia, to clean our chimney and put on a show! I am sure Dave will live on in so many happy memories your family shares. May he Rest In Peace and Rise In Glory over the rooftops of North Plainfield! Chiree!! Chim Chiree! Thank you, Dave! You will be remembered by the Buczek Family.

Dear Tess and family, my most sincere condolences. David had been a friend and educator for many years. Although he was even more to me at times like a brother. We shared , that alone exposed the size of Davids heart. I have been honored and blessed , I believe if we hold him in our heart, he will never be too distant, he will sense it. David has been continuously on our prayer list at church along with you his loved ones
