Obituary of Dorothy Okolski

Dorothy Knispel Okolski passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2016 in Flemington, NJ at the age of 93, surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 8, 1923, Dorothy lived in New Providence, NJ and worked for Western Electric for over 40 years before moving to Lakehurst, NJ upon retirement. Most recently she resided in Lebanon Township, NJ with her family. An avid traveler and passionate advocate for animals, Dorothy's wit, independence, and unconditional love for her friends and family was admired and will be missed by all that knew her. Predeceased by Louis, her husband of 54 years and her beloved cats Smokey and Lucky, Dorothy is survived by her niece Nancy Knispel Spatz of Lebanon Township, NJ, her nephew Randy Knispel of Australia, her great nieces Christina Spatz Wein and Melissa Spatz and great nephews Mark and Trevor Spatz. Private services will be held for the immediate family on Friday, December 30th.
