Obituary of Vernard J. Jackson

Vernard J. Jackson On the morning of December 1, 2016, Vern passed away at Hackettstown Community Hospital. Vern was 70 years old. Vern was born in San Francisco, California on August 24, 1946. He was the first child of Lucille and Felix Jackson. Vern love traveling, having traveled throughout the United States and Europe. He was an avid lover of football, especially his hometown team the San Francisco 49ers, proudly displaying the team helmet on his truck. He kept a large board on this wall where he could monitor scores each week and follow teams right through the Super Bowl. He also loved watching movies, with his beloved wife, Vickie, and would spend the day at the theater, eating popcorn and loving cinema. Vern is survived by his wife Vickie, his daughter Lorraine Stewart and her family, nephew Gary Vasquez and his family, Paula Dal Porto, his mother, Lucille Jackson, his brother Jeffrey Jackson and his family, and his brother, Steven Jackson and his family, as well as all those people that crossed his path in friendship. All services will be held privately by Vern's family.
