My heart goes out to the entire Twaddle family on the loss of Mrs. Kaye Twaddle. I have many great memories of Mrs. Twaddle while growing up in Elizabeth and hanging out with Joe, Jim and the rest of the family. She was a wonderful woman. Mrs. Twaddle will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Twaddle family during this tough time.

Collen and family,
I am saddened by this news about your mom. It was a pleasure having met her and having spent a little time with her on different occasions.
She is in a better place and one day you will be together again. Until then, your memories shall carry you through the days.
Love,

I am not very good at talking in front of people, but feel strongly that I need to share and celebrate Moms life.
Mom was a tough lady. Her early life was not an easy one, with her early years spent raising all eight of us, which she pretty much did on her own. Mom was a hard worker, sometime working 3 jobs at once to support us. She encouraged us to be very close and to rely on each other. I believe we have done the best to help each be the best we can be. I am grateful for and grateful to each and every one of you.
As Mom aged, life became easier and easier for her with all of us taking care of her in our own individual and special ways. I cannot let her life pass without acknowledging and thanking the family members that have made mom’s life so comfortable; whether it was help raising the younger half of us siblings or supporting us emotionally, financially and physically. I want to thank Henry for bailing out Mom financially while living at Alice Place. To thank Bonnie and Greg for making sure Mom not only had a roof over her head but took on the responsibility of raising three younger siblings under the same roof, and helping in every way to make us the responsible adults we are today and for this I will always be grateful to them.
I want to thank Bill, Tricia, Mary and Jacquelyn for taking such good care of Mom for the past twenty plus years she has lived with them. As we all know Mom could be very difficult to live with at times and her demands were very time consuming for them. I truly do not believe Mom would have lived to the ripe age of 85 were it not for the care she received from Bill, Tricia, Mary and Jacquelyn. Their selfless efforts to take care of Mom’s every need, including doctor appointments, dispensing medicine, medical needs, comfort and her wellbeing, also ensuring her hearing, dental, and food needs without ever letting us know they did and never complaining (unless it was a Friday) LOL. Bill and Tricia were always very attentive to Moms every wimp…Mary and Jacquelyn were always watching out for mom whether it was checking up on her, escorting her when walking, or playing games, doing crafts or just watching TV with her. I would also like to thank Chris and Lois Kennedy, who were also a big part of her life always looking out for mom’s best interest and always, always there for not only Mom, but for Bill and the rest of the family. I will always be grateful to them for their support during the most trying times of our life when we lost our brothers, Joe and Jim. They are always around during the most important times, not always convenient for them, but did it without reservation. I want to thank you for adopting all of us whether it was by choice or not. LOL
I could go on and on, as I think everyone got the point that Mom was very pampered by all of us and she really enjoyed her retirement years and lived a good life…
I Love you Mom. I will always miss you.

Whether you knew her by Mom, Kay, Aunt Kay, Grandma or just “Pain in the Ass” LOL she will be missed and we are all a little better for knowing her may she rest in peace.
What mom taught us all was how to be a family and what a family really is. It’s fighting with your siblings one minute and exploring something new with them the next, it is not always agreeing with each other but always respecting their opinion and always, always supporting each other. This is the gift mom leaves us with and I for one will always be grateful for.
I never knew a woman that had so many birthday parties even demanding we throw her an 85th birthday party stating “you never know which one will be your last”. Mom had such a love for life and wanting to put her mark on each and every year of that life.
It was a rough couple of years for Mom medically and I for one felt it was a privilege to visit and care for her. I think we all did.
Mom was always so generous with both her time and gifts. With raising eight kids she always knew which one of us needed that little extra attention and when. She lived through the loss of two of her sons which no Mother should have to do, but she always kept them alive in her heart and kissed them every morning and night.
Mom know that you will remain alive in my heart and I promise to kiss you each morning and night. I am a better person because of you.
Love You Forever,
Bonnie

My sincere condolences on the passing of Mrs. Twaddle. Our family knew your family since the 1970's in Elizabeth. My brother, Nelson, was a good childhood friend of Billy, and I a good friend of Jimmy.
I would like to share my deep respect for the Twaddle family, and especially at this time, my admiration for the outstanding woman and mother that Mrs. Twaddle was. Her beautiful family is a testament to her love and dedication to her children, family and those who are lucky to still have the memory of her.
May you rest in peace surrounded by your sons in Heaven, in the hands of our Almighty God.
With love and sympathy,
Griselda

One of my favorite things about her was that I could always pop in for a visit (and dinner), unannounced, anytime. It was something I did regularly when I got my license back in high school. My last visit with her, Steve and I spent time with her doing one of her favorite things, watching game shows. She really liked Steve Harvey. As many of us know, she was a tough lady and I hope I inherited that and many of her other wonderful qualities. In loving memory - Kelly and Steve

It's always hard to loose a loved one, particularly a parent. I can't believe the hole I feel inside without her. She has been the center of our existence always, good, bad or indifferent. You always knew she was there.
She had her ups and down, as we all do, but had an amazing strength to not only endure, but to thrive. I think all eight of us got some degree of her strength, usually better know as stubbornness! She could be loving and infuriating, all at the same time. When she knew she was dying and refusing pain meds, she told me she was doing this her way. And that she did.
The most important thing she ever taught us was to love and care for each other. I'm sure together and with time, the pain will lessen and be replaced with a sense of peace. And when we think of her, the pain will be replaced with smiles and laughter at the many happy memories we have all shared.
I know she loved me and I hope she knew how much I loved her as well. Keep the boys in line mom and get Aunt Teri and Aunt Pat to help.
I love you mom and will miss you everyday. Cathy

Dear Tricia, Bill, Mary, Jacquelyn and all of Kay's family. I am so sorry I will never have the pleasure of spending time with Kay. I always looked forward to having a laugh and visit with such a strong woman. Any time I could get up to visit with Lois and Chris I usually got to see her. I pray she is in heaven enjoying the thing she loved the most, family. Hugs and love to you all.

My sweet Aunt Kaye passed away. She was a wonderfully strong and loving women. She has had some rough times throughout her 85 years but she also had a great life full of family and friends who all love her so much.. Every memory I hold of Aunt Kaye...and there are MANY... is precious and full of fun and laughter. She knew how to have a good time... friends of mine whom she met at my parties would say how they loved meeting her. More than once I heard "Your Aunt is a 'Hoot' !!
We love you Aunt Kaye and will miss you so much.. It's been less than a year since your sister Pat, my mom, left us. I'm happy that you and she and Aunt Teri are together again .. I miss you all..
