Obituary of Donald Glick
Donald Glick, age 81, of LebanonTownship, NJ died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at St Luke's Hospice House in Bethlehem, PA surrounded by his loving family. Donald was born July 18, 1934 in Plainfield, NJ. He is the son of the late Leo and the late Evelyn (Keiderling) Glick.
He served in the US Navy as a Pipefitter PFC 3rd class during the Korean war from 1952 to 1956. He retired from Royal Lubricants as a Welder in 1998. Donald was a life member of the Glen Gardner VFW Post 5119 and a Philatelist from 1998 to the present.
Donald was a loving, caring and giving father of four and enjoyed watching his three grandchildren grow and spent many precious moments with his great granddaughters.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Shirley Kramer Glick.
He is survived by three daughters: Judy Tierney of Bethlehem, PA., Janet Callahan and her husband John of Bethlehem, PA. and Sandi Hannigan and her husband Bob of Charlotte, NC, one son: Donald Glick and his girlfriend Lisa Bourke of Washington, NJ; Brother of one sister: Sue Garback and her husband John of Waretown, NJ; also surviving are his grandchildren; Grand Daughter, Naphtali Walters and her husband Ryan of Bethlehem, PA.; Grandson, Christopher Tierney and his wife Brie of Sparta, NJ; Grandson, Ryan Tierney of Atlanta, GA. Four great granddaughters and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
Relatives and friends may gather on Saturday July 2, 2016 from 10:00am until the time of the service at 1:00pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ. Burial with military honors will be held at the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton NJ following the service at the funeral home.
