Obituary of Robert David Cohen

Robert David Cohen passed away suddenly in his beloved wife's arms, Tuesday morning June 21, 2016. Before retiring, Rob was a Behavioral Specialist and mentored Special Education Students. He helped change many lives and contributed greatly to their well-being. He was Dean of Students at Clearview School (Wayne,NJ) and a counselor at Palisades Learning Center (Paramus,NJ). Rob was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend. He was a gentle soul who loved music, cooking and nature. The simple pleasures in life made him happy. He especially enjoyed watching the flowers grow in the garden his wife made for him. Rob leaves behind his wife of 30years, Monica Bonn Cohen, and his beloved siblings Susan Cohen Chace and his twin brother, Norman Cohen. All services will be held privately by his family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Rob to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer.
