What a very sad loss. I pray for Jerry that he is at peace and already in the light of Jesus. I pray for you, his family, that through the pain and sorrow, you will eventually find much comfort in the memories of good times together, his humor, warmth and laughter.
He certainly did have an infectious smile and laughter. I remember his thoughtfulness when I moved back to NJ. He offered to help with my car, moving in and let me know if he heard of any job opportunities for me. I will never forget how when arriving at get-togethers, it was always a pleasure to see his smiling face. He'd greet me with a big "Mama Bush!", which always made both of us laugh, followed by a big hug.
Because I am in Florida I regret I cannot come to pay my respects and wrap my arms around you. However, I am always available to talk. Upon returning, if there is anything I can possibly do to help, I will be there for you. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
