Obituary of Jacqueline Weckesser

Jacqueline "Jackie" Weckesser , age 80, of Easton, PA. died Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Bethlehem, PA. Jacqueline was born November 11, 1935 in Teaneck, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Charles W. and the late Mildred J. (Brummer) Schreiber. Jackie was raised in Teaneck NJ and Rochester NY. She along with her late husband, Paul M. Weckesser Sr., who passed in 1993, raised their family in East Brunswick, NJ before moving to Alexandria Twp in Hunterdon County. A devout catholic, she belonged to St. Mary's Church in Alpha and Immaculate Conception Church in Spotswood NJ. Along with her husband, Jackie was a major contributor to the MaryKnoll Fathers & Brothers Organization as well as the American Cancer Society. Always active in her neighborhood community, she was a longstanding member of the East Brunswick Women's Club. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother her true passions were her family and friends. Jackie is survived by two daughters: Wendy LaFrance-Kimball and her husband Bill of Pittstown, NJ, Melissa A. Hurd and her husband Andrew of Lopatcong Twp., NJ and one son: Paul M. Weckesser Jr. of Bethlehem PA, her son Gerard Paul predeceased her in 1988. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Matthew, Paul, Jack, Caroline, William, Heather, Joshua and William. Her brothers Charles (Bill), Donald, Kenneth and Thomas, predeceased her. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday January 27, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 2 White Bridge Road, Pittstown, NJ. A ceremony at her final resting place will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Alpha NJ.
