Having gone to school with both Al and Barbara I still find it difficult to know that they have passed on. They were a wonderful couple since high school and into our later years. Thank you Gary for letting us know about your mom. They will be missed.
May God bless them and her children and their children.

To the family of Barb, I am so very sorry for your loss. My memories of your Mom were from playing field hockey at NHRHS in 1959. Loved her ready smile and wonderful attitude. She played JV with my sister, Sue, and I, Varsity. Truly know that you will miss her. May God hold her forever in His loving arms.

Dear Gary , April and family. We met your wonderful mom and dad at the Country Deli, which we owned in the 70's. Barbara and we would catch up on all the gossip in the neighborhood. Your mom was so proud of her children and she will be missed. I used to run into her at the Shoprite and always loved our conversations. Our sincere sympathy and prayers go out to your family. God Bless her always. John & Elaine Paulus.

Dear Gary and April,
Barbara became my best friend when she moved to Clinton into a house just around the corner from mine. Since her passing my mind has been flooded with so many joyful memories of our years growing up together. Watching Barbara try to fish on the first day of trout season and chasing every serious angler away because her line kept getting tangled, and then asking for help because the worms were too icky to touch is a memory I'll never forget. We watched Bandstand every afternoon to see which couples were still going steady, and of course, to learn the latest dance steps. She was an unselfish Field Hockey player and would often pass me the ball so I could score. The best thing we both did was to fall in love in high school and marry two terrific guys, who just happened to be best friends growing up in Bethlehem Township together. We hope that the loving memories both of you shared with your Mom will help ease your sadness at this time.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your lovely mother. Barbara and I were friends from our days in high school. She was always so much fun and I enjoyed knowing her all these years. I'm sure she will be missed by many; but she is again with her "Al" and they are surely smiling down on all of you.
With much love and our deepest sympathies,
Gina & Bob Benthin

April & Gary,
May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer....
