Obituary of Joseph P. Mazeika

Joseph P. Mazeika, age 80, of Glen Gardner, NJ died Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ. Joseph was born June 4, 1934 in Norwich, NY. He was the son of the late Joseph P. and the late Margaret (Halstead) Mazeika. He was employed by Ford Motor Company in Edison as an Assembly Line Worker for thirty years retiring at age 55. He served in the Army during the Korean War in which he was seriously wounded. He received the Purple Heart Medal for his wounded service. Joe was a member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the Glen Gardner VFW Post 5119 Joseph is survived by his loving wife of sixty three years: Olga (Grabko) Mazeika , three daughters: Jaylene Regan and her husband Chris of Landsdale, PA, Margaret "Toots" Smith and her husband Gregg of Madison, AL, Cathy Reid and her husband Arlen of Harmony, NJ and one son: Joseph and his wife Joann of Myrtle Beach, SC. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. All services will be privately held by his family.
