Obituary of Leo F. Perry
Leo F. Perry, age 70, of Pittstown, NJ died Friday, April 10, 2015 at home in Pittstown. Leo was born March 16, 1945 in Hicksville, NY. He was the son of the late Leo H. and the late Agnes (Littmann) Perry.
He resided in Deer Park, Long Island for many years before moving to Pittstown NJ in 1992. Leo served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and worked for the Half Hollow Hills School District as a bus driver for thirty years, retiring in June of 2001.
Leo had a passion for constructing model trains and loved books and movies that had to do with WWII.
His wife Lucy Ann Perry predeceased him in March of 2007.
He is survived by one sister: Mary Perry of Deer Park, NY; Sister In Law, Roberta Pukala and her husband Zygmund, of North Carolina; Sister In Law, Mary Bures of Massachusetts; Brother In Law, Brian Bures of Long Island; Sister In Law, Noel Moran and her husband Daniel of Long Island. Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will take place Tuesday, April 14th from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31,Clinton, NJ. There will be a Mass of Christian burial held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 15 at St. Catherine Of Siena Church, 2 Whitebridge Road, Pittstown, NJ. The Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Annandale.
In lieu of flowers donations in Leo's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
