To the entire Kurth family,
We are so very sorry to hear of Thomas's passing. It is hard to find the right words of comfort when such a young and special person has left this world too soon. There are no words at a time like this that could possible ease your pain.
We wanted you to know that we will always remember Tom from the fun days watching the kids play hockey at Pocono Ice Arena and Pope John . Thomas always had a smile and was a feisty hockey player who gave his all while having fun with his teammates. We were happy that Patrick kept in touch with Thomas over the years even after we moved away. Patrick is truly devastated by the loss of his friend. Our hearts truly break for you as you mourn. Please know that our most sincere thoughts and prayers are with your family Thomas will not be forgotten and will always be remembered as great kid who had a very special bond with his Dad and family. May Thomas rest in the sweetest peace , God Bless your family.

I only knew Tom for the short time while we attended West Virginia University together, but I was always struck by how overwhelmingly positive and funny he was. His sense of humor while sometimes brash always lit up the room and never failed to make everyone laugh. He will always be a part of my memories from college, not only for me but without a doubt for many others as well. Tom is truly irreplaceable and to say he will be missed is a gross understatement. You have my deepest condolences for your family's loss, and I hope you can find peace in the fact that Tom was widely loved and will not be forgotten.

Whenever Thomas comes into my mind, he immediately brings a smile to my face and heart. Over the many years I taught, I worked with so many wonderful young people and Thomas was one of those wonderful beings who just brought joy into the classroom everyday. His presence and good humor always reminded me to see the blessings of the day. He, I know, is sorely missed, but I will continue to carry his gracious spirit with me! Thank you for sharing such a gift of God. "Mount"

Dear Michelle, Rich, and family,
I was very sorry to learn of Thomas' passing when I awoke this morning. Many thoughts and memories of times we spent together on the soccer fields of High Bridge and other locales. He was an original member of my soccer team, the Kickers. Rich was my assistant. We had the pleasure of watching our sons enjoy sport, and grow into young athletes as they entered into boyhood. I will remember Thomas' smile, and his enthusiasm unbounded.
