My Aunt Esther was never without a wonderful smile and a cheerful laugh. She encouraged us to look on the bright side of things and have FUN! I have always admired her varied collection of antique earthenware bottles, jugs, and crocks. When children, we were jealous of our cousins Patty, Mary-Ruth, Joe, Ron, and Donna, because Aunt Esther let them drink soda, while we had to drink milk -- blech! She would put out delicious ribbon candy at Christmas time. She enjoyed having a clever joke every now and then on our grandfather Sam. We will miss her kindness and humor.
