I had the honor of being a close friend of Alison for many years and I have never met a better person. She was an excellent and proud Mother to Lisa and Cliffy, devoted and driven to help them both succeed, and she deeply loved her brothers and, of course, all of her beautiful Grandchildren. I know we are all feeling the sudden and painful loss of a treasured loved one and I only hope that we can be soothed with the memory of what a wonderful person Alison was to all. I know that, for me, nobody else will or can ever fill those shoes and yet, I know she is finally together again with her deeply missed Mother, Lois, looking down on all of us.
