To Vi.
Vi, you were a wonderful neighbor and Ginny and I adored you. Your passing makes me very sad and I know that my life was better because I knew you. If Ginny were alive she would say the same thing. You encouraged my sons to use your property when they played assorted sports. You always had some soup for Ginny and me to eat...every one better than the next. You often sat on your porch with one of us and Jane Knox, chatting about your children or grandchildren. Your precious dogs were always around. You scared us when the fire caused so much damage to your home, but you handled it like an old pro. When you moved we knew we would be diminished by your leaving, but we did see you from time to time. The bottom line sweet lady? The world was a better place because you were here. Thank you. Emotionally I was unable earlier to say a final goodbye to you Vi. I say it now dear neighbor. Goodbye. And say hello to Ginny when you see her up there.
