Obituary of Richard E Davidek

Richard E. Davidek, 79, of Califon, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in Flemington, NJ. He was born on May 1, 1945, in Newark, NJ, and grew up in Irvington, NJ, as the son of the late John Paul Davidek and the late Margaret (nee Novak) Davidek.

A graduate of Irvington High and Essex County Vocational and Technical High School, Richard served our nation honorably as a US Marine for four years. Following his service, he worked in Carteret, NJ and NYC as a machinist for the New York Times.

Richard was the father of Jennifer and Richard and grandfather to four grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Corrao; his son, Richard Davidek; his brother, Milan Davidek; and his five grandchildren, Nicholas Corrao, Richard Corrao, Christopher Corrao, Caden Davidek, and Kylee Davidek. He was predeceased by his brother John Davidek.
