I was so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. He and I (and 3 others) were close friends in Somerville High School and we stayed in touch for many years thereafter. A highlight of our continued friendship was a weekend golfing outing that the five us us took to Hilton Head in the fall of 1990 to celebrate our 50th birthdays.
