Obituary of Pei-Yung Song
Pei-Yung Song (宋佩筠), age 70, of Califon, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 1, 2024. Born September 21, 1953 in Taipei, Taiwan, she was the daughter of Wen Yau Song and Jen Kuei Song.
Pei-Yung was a graduate of National Taiwan University, University of Michigan, and Seton Hall University. She earned three graduate degrees including Masters of Library Science, Masters of Computer Science, and Masters of Business Administration. Her professional career spanned roles in systems engineering at Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies, AT&T, and UTStarcom, before she founded Song Financial Planning.
Pei-Yung’s 39-year marriage to Andrew Denis Kozlowski was marked by deep love and partnership. Together, they raised two children, Andrew Song Kozlowski and Mary Song Kozlowski.
Pei-Yung was a caring, gentle, and patient wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, known for her radiant smile. She was an avid traveler, having visited over 60 countries across six continents.
Pei-Yung will be deeply missed by her husband, Andrew Denis Kozlowski; their children, Andrew Song Kozlowski and Mary Song Kozlowski; and her siblings: Pei-Fong Song-Lin, Pei-Yung Song-Yu, Pei-Pei Song-Tomioka, Pei-Lin Song-Chung, Pei-Mi Floegel-Song, Zhao Di Song, Michael Song, and Linda Song. She is predeceased by her parents, Wen Yau Song and Jen Kuei Song.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pei-Yung’s life and share their memories on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with reflections beginning at 5:45 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. Cremation will be held privately.
