I was saddened to hear of Ed's passing. I will have his obituary posted with the American Institute of Marine Underwriters as Ed contributed greatly to the long ocean marine tradition of innovative thinking and problem solving. I met Ed in 1985 and his intelligence, wit, humor and "can do "attitude are things i will always recall when thinking of Ed. Please accept my condolences.
