Helen was always a joy to talk to when she visited at the Salon to get her hair done. We talked about our families and the joy they bring to us. She was so proud and loved her family . We would laugh and share our weekly stories. I will miss her for I felt she took the place of my Mom who passed 6 years ago. She would give me Motherly advise and we laughed. There is a special place in my heart for Helen. Rest in peace.

I learned this when she, some of my siblings, and I would at Green Acres mall when living in Long Island, New York. I would ask her, Mommy, how come you don't buy yourself anything?" Then she would reply, "You guys come first."
My deepest sympathies to Uncle Joe and all of the Resua’s. I’m sorry to hear about the passing of Aunt Helen Ann. I have great memories of going to your home on Catalpa Ave in the 1960’s for family BBQ’s! I can still see all 16 kids playing all day inside and outside the house while your Dad cooked on the grill as your Mom, Uncle Artie and Aunt Sis fed the troops! Lots of love there!

I have wonderful memories of all the beautiful crafts she made, specifically loved the birthday pillows and I am always warmed at the sight of all the Christmas stockings. A truly wonderful lady.
