I will always be very grateful to Lois. She was the one who encouraged me to join Jockey Hollow Weavers Guild and invited me to see her weaving studio. Her studio and her work gave me a glimpse into the endless ways to express oneself through weaving. She was a special part of our annual sale every year. Visitors always stopped to watch and chat with her as she demonstrated weaving. The handwoven pieces she sold were beautifully made and appreciated by the many people who bought them. She told me that at times she would weave all day long! I will miss her contributions to our world of weaving.

Fond memories of Lois at many Red Mill Museum Village events demonstrating her weaving skills! She personally taught me basket weaving and needle felting. As a Red Mill Museum Tour Guide, she made such an impact on so many school children that visited the museum throughout the 25 plus years! My thoughts are with her family. Elizabeth Cole
