Obituary of Margaret Jean Gilbert

Margaret Jean "Maggie" Gilbert, 72, of High Bridge, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday September 1, 2023, at the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice House. She was born on November 7, 1950, in Phillipsburg, NJ and was the daughter of the late Carl Dalrymple Sr and the late Bessie (Huff) Dalrymple.

Maggie attended Belvidere High School and married Frederick "Fred" Gilbert on September 23, 1988. Maggie enjoyed shopping with her daughters, adoring her grandchildren, family trips (especially to North Carolina), routing for the Philadelphia Eagles, but most importantly spending time with her girls.

Maggie will forever be cherished by her husband Fred; daughters, Raquel and husband Joseph Plimpton of Asheboro NC, Dawn and husband Wayne Stover of Washington NJ and Jamie Jones of PA; stepson, Fred Gilbert of High Bridge NJ; grandchildren, Jason Grabinsky and wife Jessica, Heather Plimpton, Katelyn Grabinsky, Joey Plimpton, Tyler Bantel, Alan Peacock, Aryton Bantel, Scott Bantel and Ramsay Brown; great-grandchildren, Anna Grabinsky, Nathan Grabinsky, Jayce Grabinsky, Bennie Ward and Jacob Hannay.
