Andy brought the sunshine with him wherever he went and to whomever he met. Always got a welcoming hug from him no matter where I'd run into him. I grew up with his brother, Mike, in Glen Gardner. My sister, Jeanette was in Andy's grade. So many great memories and smiles all around. My Mom, Stella Smith, passed away on July 10th at 98 years old. I can't imagine living that long, but if I do, I hope I will have a smile for everyone like Andy always did.

Andy was the kind of person who made people, all kinds and many, many people, love him. He was always appreciative, sincere, supportive, and often cuttingly funny, and not afraid to share his feelings. If Andy wanted you as a friend, you he gave you no choice but to have a terrific friendship with him. He made me a better person by example. He was so giving, his smile so infectious, his stories so funny and numerous, that you felt truly gifted, and were encouraged to pass it on. He shared himself and his gifts with many, many, people, and we will never forget him. He enriched us all Goodbye Sunshine, until we meet again.
How deeply saddened we were to hear of Andy’s passing.
Andy’s cheerfulness always brought a smile to my face. He was such a kind & compassionate soul. He was taken much too soon and will greatly missed. We send our heartfelt prayers & condolences to all his family.

As you all know Andy was a beautiful and kind and loving soul. Growing up in Glen Gardner everyone knew the Dalpe family. Each was a special person. Andy however was the most kind loving and gentle man. His exuberance for life and the kindness he showed all left a mark on all of us.
