Obituary of Liese R. Curreri

Liese R. Curreri, 61, of Lambertville, NJ, passed away on Friday July 7, 2023, at Hunterdon Medical Center with her beloved daughters by her side. Liese was born on May 21, 1962, in Bayshore, NY, and was the daughter of Jerome Curreri Sr. and the late Carol (neeThoren) Curreri.

Liese was raised at Sunset Lake, in Bridgewater NJ. She graduated from Bridgewater East High School and received her associates degree in hotel/restaurant management from Raritan Valley Community College.

With her energetic and creative nature, she was inspired on fostering her start up business, the Towpath Traveler, which nurtured her love of creativity and nature. Liese could often be found reading, gardening, and making many precious memories with her grandaughters, who she often spent time crafting with and teaching them to skips rocks at one of her favorite places, the Lambertville Bridge, on the Delaware River. She enjoyed a good game of Scrabble and thrifting at Saturday markets. Liese was a animal lover at heart, and enjoyed spending time with her beloved and faithful dog, Sampson. Most of all, Liese cherished her time spent with her family, who was above all, the most important thing to her.

Liese will be forever cherished by her three daughters; Danielle Saggio and her soon to be husband, Robert of Bethlehem, PA, Ashley Dunker and her husband, Jeff of Clinton, NJ, and Rachael Kakounis and her husband Dean, of Warren, NJ. Nonna to five granddaughters, Amelia, Charlie, Julia, Mae and Sophia. Brother, Jerry Curreri Jr, and his wife Roberta of Wellsboro. PA. Also surviving are many dear childhood friends.

Funeral service to celebrate Liese's life, will be held on Thursday, July 13th at 1:00 PM at Clinton Presbyterian Church, 91 Center Street, Clinton NJ 08809.
