Obituary of Gary V. Boccadutre
Gary V. Boccadutre, age 68, of Clinton, NJ, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Hunterdon Medical Center. Gary was born on February 26, 1955, in Newark, NJ to Dorothy (nee Barney) Boccadutre and Victor Boccadutre.
Gary was a loving and devoted husband to Sharon (nee Samuel) whom he married on October 26th, 1985. He was an amazing father to Dana and Kelly, grandfather to Teagan Claire, son, brother, uncle and friend. Gary had a gentleness to him; he was patient, kind, caring, and always listened to those who needed a lending ear. Most of all he had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making everyone laugh. Gary enjoyed life and wanted the girls to see the world in an innocent wonder. For example, Santa and the Easter Bunny were never not going to come, no matter the girl's age. He made everything exciting, because he was so enamored with everything he showed Dana and Kelly. Gary enjoyed amazing activities with his family and friends whether it was a Pink Floyd concert, traveling to Hilton Head with friends, or to Florida to see family. He enjoyed lifelong relationships with his childhood friends with whom he grew up in Middlesex, New Jersey.
Gary opened G & B Machine, Inc in 1979. He was a machinist/proprietor that manufactured and helped develop products throughout the years. Gary appreciated and mentored many employees throughout his career. He was a master at his trade.
In 1997, Gary moved his family to Hunterdon County where he was able to have his dream home built and raise his family.
Gary had a lot of hobbies through the years: karate, a drummer in a band (where he played music by ear), lifting weights, and built cars that he raced at Englishtown Raceway. Gary was a man of faith that joined the Catholic Church at St. Catherine of Siena. In later years he enjoyed going to music concerts, plays in New York City, and sitting in the sun at the Jersey Shore.
Gary will be forever missed by his beloved wife, Sharon (nee Samuel) Boccadutre; daughters, Dana Berzanskis and her husband Michael, Kelly Boccadutre and her husband Joseph Lawroski Jr.; granddaughter, Teagan Claire Berzanskis.
