Obituary of Maureen E. Stout
Maureen E. Stout, 72, of Glen Gardner, NJ passed away at her home on Saturday, May 28th surrounded by her loving family. Maureen was born November 27, 1938 in Carbondale, PA. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Mildred (Edwards) Murphy.
Mrs. Stout lived in Lebanon Township for over 20 years. She previously lived in Tewksbury Township and Hamilton Township, NJ. She graduated from Trenton State College with a BA in Mathematics and taught in Burlington County for 5 years. She was a Tax Accountant for Hoechst Celanese Corporation in Bridgewater for many years. Mrs. Stout was an active member of St. John Neumann Church in Califon and most recently served as its Financial Administrator. Both she and her husband were members of The Four Freshmen Society and NJ Jazz Society. Mrs. Stout also enjoyed spending time with family, staying in touch with old friends, reading, gardening and volunteering her time at The Barn in Califon.
She is survived by her husband Phillip, her three children: twins, Marc and Kelly Stout of Denver, Amy Kornberger and her husband William, extended family Debbie Hunt and her husband William, Richard Stout and his wife Fay, Grace Murphy, nieces Molly Stovall and her husband Anthony, Melissa Danforth and her husband Ken, Megan Eves and her husband William and nephews Jeremy Hunt, Chris Murphy, Jeff Murphy and Tim Murphy and his wife Gayla. She was preceded in death by her brother David in 1997.
There will be a funeral mass and celebration of life for Maureen at 11:00 am on June 7, 2011 at St. John Neumann Church in Califon, NJ.
