My condolences, kindness and comfort to the Tichy family. But also a remembrance of a great and honorable life. As I read the story, I was thinking they forgot the Easter eggs she would do. But no they didn't! I have never read an obituary more well written than this. It attests to who she was if the picture of her alone is not enough.
The family was largely responsible for the summer park program that kept us children out of trouble. Besides arts and crafts, it was filled with games and activities. Of all things I was the checker champion of the town. In fact my wife is bringing down the checker board this week to our farm and we are going to go at it with the ferocity of children. It's been years.
A so long.... for a short while. My hope is we shall be returning to a life as it was in those days with wonderful people such as her, in a wonderful place to be.
