Dear Karen, France and Dee,
We were very sorry to hear about your mom's passing. Our prayers are with you and your family. She led such a full life, I hope you remember the good times and find peace and comfort in all the loving support of friends.
Take care,
Lauren and Tom Connors
For some reason I have been thinking about both of my deceased parents Bill and Grace Thompson and all the great friends they had. Mr. and Mrs. Stasick were among those friends. They like us had 6 kids and a busy family life. I think my dad met Joe Stasick in Boy Scouts and then my mother met Fran through their friendship. Mrs Stasick was a great mother; you could tell by how she talked to you and was genuinely interested in what was going on in your life. Dee was in my grade at Our Lady of Sorrows and was always so happy and smart. I remember Karen being so involved in ballet. The Stasicks would go trips that my father sponsored in his automotive business and we loved when they were with us. One trip to the Dominican Republic as it was just starting to be a resort was great fun; I remember falling asleep on a hamock and waking up covered in towels as Mrs Stasick did not want me to burn.. I think the last time I saw them was at my own wedding 39 years ago and as usual Mrs Stasick made sure to have a good conversation with me. I loved the tribute video on her obituary site. She was a pretty woman always with a great twinkle in her eye. May she be with the angels, Joe, Karen and my parents sitting on chairs on a sunny beach chatting away about their lives/families. XO Mrs. Stasick, Loretta Thompson Colberg
