My condolences to all of the Emery family. I too have many wonderful memories of the jovial and vibrant friend that Don was, and loved going to those stock car races and watching him race his Datsun. He could light up a room with his sense of humor, and I know he will be sorely missed.
Don and I knew each other since our days at Forks Elementary. I remember playing chess with him there, and the family homestead at the bottom of Zucksville Road. More recently we were neighbors in the Hope Ridge development, and I often saw him walking around there. My condolences at your loss. Don was a great guy!

RIP Don. Katrina and all the family you are in our thoughts and prayers
I have many memories with Don not the least of when would come race in Connecticut and my father would tune up the car. We would help out in the pit while we watched him race. Many other memories but I'm sharing this on.
Sorry for your loss Katrina. My dad shared memories of playing “sandlot baseball” with your dad when they were kids in your grandparents field. Your dad was such a kind man-may he Rest In Peace.
