Obituary of Ann Louise Komarek

Ann Louise Komarek, 86 years, of Union Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday April 6, 2022, at her home. She was born on November 5, 1935, in Phillipsburg, Ann was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Anna (née Uhlir) Komarek.

Ann grew up on the family farm in Asbury, NJ, where she made many great memories. Ann attended and graduated from Rider College, where she achieved her teaching. She would later go on to earn her Master’s degree in Education, from Rutgers University. Ann taught for many years at the Bridgewater-Raritan High School. When not in the classroom, Ann loved to travel with family and friends. She was also an active volunteer with the Clinton Red Mill and the Flemington Food Pantry.

Ann is survived by her nephews, George and Joseph Komarek. Her parents, Joseph and Anna Komarek, and her brother, George and his wife, Edith predeceased her.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14th, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. Inurnment will be held privately at the Bloomsbury Cemetery. To share memories with the family please visit www.martinfh.com
