Obituary of Donna Angela Edson

Donna Angela Edson, age 64, of Lebanon Twp., NJ died Friday, January 14, 2011 at home. Mrs. Edson was born February 10, 1946 in Hartford, CT the daughter of the late Michael and the late Ella (Maturo) Alogna. She was employed by Essex County Social Services in Newark, NJ as a Social Worker for 33 years before retiring. Donna lived in Lebanon Twp., NJ for the past 30 years. She enjoyed training and playing her dogs. She is survived by her beloved husband, Amos L. Edson, her sister, Patricia Riess, her brothers; John Alogna & Michael Alogna and several nieces & nephews. Visiting Hours will be on Thursday, January 20th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Funeral Mass on Friday, January 21st at 12:00 pm at the Immaculate Conception RC Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St. Hubert's North Branch Adoption Center, PO Box 5281, North Branch, NJ 08876. There will be a private interment in Wethersfield, CT.
