Mrs. Roberts was my vocal director at Northeast Jr. High School in the early 1970’s. She encouraged me to take private lessons from Ms. Marjorie Heiberger, who I will also be very fond of. I remember after glee club Mrs Roberts and I would take an extra 10 minutes of private time and she would coach me on my “scales and arpeggios”. If I had only listened to her about proper breathing techniques…. Mrs. Roberts was a grand and beautiful woman and will always be a gold nugget in my heart. Thank you my dear friend Lynn for sharing your mom with me and the rest of the NE students. Forever humbled, Alesia Dietrich.
