Obituary of Ellen S. Donnelly

Ellen Donnelly, age 83, of Bridgewater passed away Friday, August 27, 2010 in Atlantic City. Mrs. Donnelly was born February 17, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Charles Frederick and the late Henrietta (Moeller) Sauer. Mrs. Donnelly worked for the Martinsville Post Office and Pluckemin Post Office for over 35 years before retiring. She has been living in Bridgewater for over 75 years. She also had a house in Forked River Beach, NJ. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spending time her house down the shore. She also liked to crochet and play cards. She is survived by two loving daughters: Shari Lynn Hendrickson and her husband Mark J. Hendrickson and Ellen Darlene Johnson and her husband John M. Johnson; her six dear grandchildren: Kristin Lee McCaffrey and her husband Jared, Adam Paul Hendrickson and his wife Jennifer, Kelly Elizabeth Hendrickson, Robin Darlene Johnson, Katie Lynn Pill and husband Justin, and Whitney Ann Hendrickson; and her cherished great grandson, Adam Paul Hendrickson Jr. She was also survived by her brother: Charles Sauer and sister Esther Sauer Manara. Predeceased by her husband, John Lawrence Donnelly and Sisters, Mildred Bohrer and Henriettta Sauer. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, August 31st from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Funeral Service held on Wednesday, September 1st at 10:00am at the Martin Funeral Home.
