Obituary of Stanley A. Filipiak
Stanley A. Filipiak, age 79, of Annandale, NJ passed away Friday, June 11, 2010 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ. Mr. Filipiak was born April 1, 1931 in Beeville, Texas. He served in the Army during Korean War. He was a Director of Traffic for National Starch and Chemical Company in Manville, NJ before retiring.
He has been living in Annandale since 1977 and was previously from Pittsburgh, PA. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Vilma (Vislosky) Filipiak; his two sons: Michael Filipiak and his wife Raina, Joey Filipiak and his wife Cheryl; his son-in-law, Glenn Berntsen, his brother: Joseph Grace and his wife Carol; his grandchildren, Rachel, Tyler, Alexandra, Ashley and Aram. He was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Mary and his daughter, Julie
Visiting will be Monday, June 14th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Funeral Mass held on Tuesday, June 15 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale, NJ. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery on the church grounds.
