Obituary of Katherine M. Blythe

Katherine M. Blythe Passed May 1, 2010 With sadness, we say a loving goodbye to Katherine, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered by her children as a fun loving person, always ready to share her love of nature and all God's creation, especially the ocean. She was born February 4, 1918 to George and Anna Biros in South Amboy, NJ. She met her husband, a Navy pilot stationed in Lakehurst, in Pt. Pleasant and was married in 1944. She & Robert Blythe raised three children, Robert Blythe, Cathy Brynildsen and Douglas Blythe in Elberon, NJ, close to the Jersey shore she loved so dearly. Her husband of 50 years died in 1994. Katherine was fortunate to reach her 92nd birthday enjoying her children, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one more on the way. Services will be private. All arrangements are under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Clinton, NJ.
