Obituary of Eileen Vitale

Eileen Vitale, age 54, of Asbury, NJ passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at her home. She was born April 14, 1955 in Newark, NJ and was the daughter of the late Theodore J. and the late Rosemary (Demech) Van Aulen. Eileen graduated from St. Peter's Nursing School in New Brunswick, NJ. She has been a Registered nurse for the 30 yrs. She worked for Cares Surgicenter in New Brunswick for the past 10 yrs. She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary in Glen Gardner, NJ, and was an active member of the Girl Scouts in her community. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, quilting and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 33 years: Mark Vitale, her daughters: Susan and Melissa Vitale of Asbury, her brother: Theodore Van Aulen of Valrico, FL, her sister: Karen Tkacik of Coopersburg, PA, her sister, Helen Bettman of Howell, NJ and her brother: Peter Van Aulen of Chester, NY. She was predeceased by her parents: Theodore and Rosemary Van Aulen and her brother, Gary Van Aulen. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday April 13th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be Funeral Mass held on Wednesday April 14th at 10:00 at St. Ann's Church, 6 Church Street in Hampton. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church Wednesday morning for the Mass.
